Project Description

WSP (formerly Wood) in partnership with Summit Design and Engineering, Inc. was contracted by Edgecombe County, NC in 2020 to complete the following tasks for 15 structures within Edgecombe County and 75 structures within the Town of Princeville:

Pre-Mitigation Survey & Elevation Certificate

  • Site Survey including location of all buildings on the lots, driveways, sidewalks, site features, slab elevation, first floor elevation, and boundary survey
  • Completion of Plot Plans and FEMA Elevation Certificates

 

Engineering

  • Pre-elevation/reconstruction structural assessments
  • Elevation and foundation design and specifications

 

Feasibility Reports

  • Environmental and Historical review and documentation
  • FEMA Flood Study Review
  • Eligibility Review
  • Benefit Cost Analyses with FEMA’s BCA toolkit
  • Feasibility Report consistent with FEMA P-259
